PANTAmatrix has an industry-standard x64 architecture, making it possible to run standard x86 and x64 operating system distributions. Software products and applications supported by these operating systems will run on the platform without modifications.
PANTA provides its SysManager application as a tool for monitoring and managing the hardware and for dynamically configuring systems to match the application workload. It significantly reduces the cost of resource management and provisioning.
SysManager recognizes hardware components as they are plugged into the system, maintaining a complete overview of resource availability and current usage. It allows the dynamic configuration of servers or clusters of servers from available compute modules and I/O resources, matching the requirements of application workload. SysManager's simple, intuitive user interface autonomously requisitions the required resources to fulfill a configuration request, which allows system administrators to focus on overall productivity instead of server management. It provides simple and rapid deployment of systems and applications, and can work together with popular management software packages, ensuring seamless integration with existing data center environments. In addition to its intuitive graphical user interface, it provides a set of Command Line Interfaces and API's to be used by 3rd party management, infrastructures (e.g. server virtualization) and job queuing software packages for integration into existing data center infrastructures.
