The PANTAmatrix InfiniBand attached storage module contains 16 SATA disk drives. It has two high performance RAID controllers with 256 MB of cache each. Depending on the type of disk drives used, the module can sustain well over 1GB/s of I/O to storage.

The PANTA SRPT storage agent includes Volume Management and LUN masking capabilities and implements the SCSI RDMA Protocol (SRP) to present a standard block device interface to the compute modules.
