Tung Nguyen
Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Vice President Engineering
Tung Nguyen founded PANTA Systems in June 2002 and was the company's CEO and President for the first two years. Tung is responsible for driving the company's technical and product development strategy. With more than 25 years experience in high performance system development, Tung sets PANTA Systems technology direction and provides leadership in the system architecture areas.
Prior to PANTA, Tung founded Archway Digital Solutions in 2000, a bladed server startup targeted at the ISP/ASP Data Center market. As Chief Technical Officer and Board Director at Archway, Tung was responsible for developing and executing the company's operations plan, technology roadmap and product strategy.
Prior to founding Archway, Tung was a Senior Technical Contributor at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories reporting to the Director of HP Labs and Senior VP of R&D, who reported directly to the CEO. Tung's responsibilities for HP Enterprise Computing included product strategy, roadmap and technology. Tung was also a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM, where he led the design of the RS/6000 Power-2 microprocessor and several multiprocessor systems. Previous to IBM, Tung was the Lead Technical Marketing Analyst at Cray Research and managed an Advanced Application Development group for Steve Chen's MP development program. He helped Cray build its Seismic and Reservoir Engineering Petroleum business that displaced IBM as the market leader. Tung also consulted at Los Alamos National Labs, and was a research assistant at NASA Johnson Space Center. Tung holds a Ph.D. and MS in Mathematics from the University of Houston.

Pradip Kulkarni
Vice President and General Manager
PANTA Computer Systems India Private Limited
Pradip joined PANTA Systems as General Manager and Vice President of Engineering for its India Software Development operations in August 2004. As a founding employee of PANTA India, Pradip has grown the operation from inception to a wholly-owned subsidiary of PANTA Systems Inc, USA. Prior to PANTA, Pradip joined VERITAS Software India Private Limited in June 1994. During the 10 years of his tenure with VERITAS, Pradip was responsible for software development, initially as Senior Software engineer and finally as Senior Director of Engineering.
Pradip earned a Distinguished Engineer position in 2002 for his contribution to VERITAS products and technologies in various areas of Logical Volume Manager, Storage Management infrastructure technologies, Storage Area Networking (SAN), Dynamic Multi-Pathing, Data Replication and Backup technologies.
Before joining VERITAS, Pradip worked in the areas of Unix kernel internals and development of Unix low-level drivers and subsystems for high-performance graphics workstations. Pradip received a MS in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay in 1988.
